Ritchie Valens Recreation Center



The Ritchie Valens Recreation Center is the name of a park in Pacoima CA. This is a public park located at Laurel Canyon Blvd. It is open from Monday to Sunday. There is a children's play area, a basketball court, a skatepark, and a community center building.

Unfortunately, the City of Los Angeles has not properly maintained this park. For one, there is not a swimming pool available to the public. In addition, the basketball courts are not publicly accessible. However, the park does offer a children's playground and shaded baby swings.

In addition, the indoor gymnasium is a good size and offers many programs to help kids. The gymnasium also serves as an auditorium for the community. Another nifty feature of this park is its location next to the freeway. With a little bit of work, the city could have made this a popular place for both young and old.

While it is not a huge park, it is the perfect place to hang out with friends and family. It has a children's play area, lighted basketball and baseball courts, a children's playground, a picnic table, and a skate park. Plus, the nearby Griffith Park is an attractive attraction, with an outdoor pool, an indoor gym, soccer and handball courts, a free summer lunch program, and a children's play area.
